Day 15: My home
I'm thankful for a roof over my head and for the people who live in it. :) We moved from "the old house" about five years ago and I love living in the area that we do now!
On a side note (it relates so I'm putting it in this post) the other day I asked the middle school girls to name something they were thankful for that they take for granted. One of them said "I'm thankful to live in a country where I can believe what I want to beleive and not worry about waking up in the morning to bombs and gunshots and terrorists basically in my backyard." I don't know about you, but I thought that was pretty deep for a seventh grader :) Honestly, it's something I know I take for granted. I've never had to experiance anything like what some people in the world living in other countries have. I'm very thankful that I live in the USA.
