Day Eighteen: Weekends
Friday I night I went over to my grandparent's house to have a birthday dinner for my grandfather (71st!) hamburgers and homemade french fries. Doesn't get much better than that!
Saturday I woke up, had a BBQ butt surprisingly delivered to my house (mom ordered it from a fundraiser a few months ago but totally forgot about it!) it was cooked so we carved it and I packed it up for lunch! Took it to my grandmother's house, ate lunch with her, and spent the day watching The Help, The Grace Card, and half of the Notebook. Jammed out to Christmas music on the way home with my windows rolled down and the volume turned up. Walked in, changed clothes, grabbed a few things, and went to babysit. There I modpodged a pretty cool renaisance fair festival project, colored a few pictures, played games, sang songs, watched a movie, and after the girls went to bed I read a book. Came home, sat in my pajamas, and watched Glee.
Sunday I started at the Arlington church, found out my Sunday School teacher was being ordained as an elder at our Bartlett campus and drove over there before service started. (Didn't know he was being ordained at the Arlington campus too! Ha!) Left a little early and went over to my aunt and uncle's house to have a Thanksgiving lunch with my grandparents. Chilled out over there, helped my cousin with her English project, drove her to Bellevue, got lost in Bellevue, went back to my aunt and uncle's house to grab something I forgot, went by Mrs. Darla's house to say hello, came home and worked on my Economics homework, and ate a dinner of buffalo shrimp. Yum :)
I'm thankful for weekends! Whether they're crazy busy like this one was, or spent relaxing with a good book. :D
