I'm thankful for water too, but that's not quite what I mean. ;) "H2O" is a middle school girl's bible study I started up this past summer. The name stands for "His To Own" which comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price...”
I am so thankful for this group of girls! We meet once or twice a month and have bible study, spa nights, movienights, chinese take-out extravaganzas, pool parties, and service projects. This weekend we spent a few hours and raked leaves for my neighbors. They are an older couple that I see outside working in their yard all the time and I thought that it would be nice to do something for them. :) The girls did an AWESOME job and we picked up over 80 bags of leaves. We had to send someone to the store twice to get more boxes of trash bags. After we finished, we went to a home of a church member's and had a bonfire. (I wish I had gotten pictures of that!!) At the bonfire we roasted hotdogs, made s'mores, and then talked about different things that the girls want to do over the next few months. We have some really exciting things coming up over the next few months!!!
