I'm not a stalker...I'm an observant reader. ;)

For whatEVER reason I love reading blogs. Don't ask me why, I have no clue. I get excited when someone updates theirs. I just do... ANYWAY, someone recently posted something and it's awesome!!!

Peace with God Through Faith

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-- 8 but God shows his love for us in thatwhile we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 5
I LOVE this passage! (Angela...I copied this directly off of yours, and then posted onto mine. You can make fun of me later if you want to. Lol)
Anyway, I really do like this passage!!! I especially like v. 1-2 "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Through him we have also obtained access by faith into his grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God"
I REALLY like The Message interpretation.
"By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of Jesus.2 And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise"
In case the highlighting and underlining weren't a big enough deal, I REALLY like that part of v. 2! It's like saying that God has totally been there for us WITH us, and I just think it's a really amazing verse. Lol It's 12:30 and I got up at 5:00 this morning. =) I hope I made sense. Nighty-Night!
A Little piece of something I liked and was able to learn from!
