We came home from the trip on Friday at 5:00 and then went straight to the Carrie Underwood concert!!! It was incredible!!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday was pretty laid back. We cleaned for a little while, and then I went to Saturday Night Service. The only word I can describe it with....wow. It is always really awesome. Always. But last night was just mind blowing. I can't even explain it! I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with my amazing friend, Sarah, just talking about the lesson! Lol! =) If you haven't come to the service b4 like seriously, go. It's awesome!
Today is Sunday! My favorite day of the week!!! We had a surprise baby shower for Ashley and it was awesome! Then we did a lesson on Ephesians 1. Oh my goodness...it was complicated. I wish I could remember the verses off the top of my head, but it talked about how life is pre-destined, and that God knows about everything in the big scheme of life. He knows who will accept him and who won't accept him and everything. My question was "If God already knows, and the Bible says everyone has a purpose, then whats the purpose of the people God created who won't believe in Him?" I learned that God gives us free will and that even the ones who don't believe in God can be used to show God's glory. Like when a non-christian persecutes you, it can be used to show your faith in God. That's the shortened version of what I learned anyway. Hopefully that made sense. Lol =)
Then after church we came home and had a lunch of crab cakes and salad. AMAZING!!!!! =D
Then at Jericho Junction while doing my puppet I said "Estha" instead of "Esther" like...twice. Haha maybe you had to be there for that.
Afterwards I got face-painted with pudding. I should probably explain. There was this competition between the kids and teenagers about who could say more Bible verses. Whatever percentage said more kids to paint the others with pudding. Well, the kids won so the teenagers that said 2 or less (which would be me) got there face painted with vanilla or chocolate pudding. hahahahahaha
All in all, it was an amazing Fall Break. One I will never ever forget! =D
