My grandmother had a stroke last night. She's currently in the hospital, but the doctors are saying that with a lot of physical therapy she'll make a full recovery. I haven't been able to go see her yet, but I know she's gonna be ok. She's absolutely amazing.
Haha when we were little and my mom worked during the summer at Mother's Day Out we'd go spend the day at grandma's house. She would let us go pick toys out of the big shed in her backyard and we'd play for EVER!!!! She kept my mom's toys from when she was a little kid so she has huge boxes of barbies, barbie houses, board games, legos, little people (but they are wooden little people...not the plastic ones with the dresses you see today) and tons of stuff. She always gave a us a little debbie at 2:00 in the afternoon as a snack because that was "snack time." EVERY day!!! My absolute favorite thing to do with her now though is shop. =D She loves Dillards and JCPennys, Kohls ( <3 ) and pretty much whatever.
One time we were shopping and she was trying on new clothes. She puts a shirt on and my mom goes "ew. Don't buy that. That doesn't look good on you at all." Grandma looked at her and says "This is the shirt I wore when I came to the store today" Hahahaha! That's the big joke between them now.
Anyway, my grandma is one awesome lady. <3 love her SO much!!!!!!! Keep her in your prayers. :-)
Let's tell everyone how my big mouth got me in sooooo much trouble!! It really was funny though - I didn't think your great-grandma and grandma were ever going to stop laughing in that dressing room!!!! Now every time Grandma wears that shirt she says "Look, it's the shirt you don't like! Hahahahaha!" I'll never live that one down!
